Love Got YOU This Far
I'm alive, alive
I'm barely functioning, I'm
falling apart, internally dying
To the outside perception
standing strong
always a grin
I'm alive, alive
I'm crying inside, I'm
depleted, drained but
Somehow keep moving
on, I am my daughter
This story is for her
She is me
the next chapter
as my pages inevitably end
Just as she is her mother
who forever
holds a piece of my heart
Contained in our child
she a masterpiece
created from the best of both us

NICELY WRITTEN A PIECE FIT FOR THE LOVE OF A MAN FOR HIS CHILD ITS A WONDERFUL THING TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THOSE SPECIAL MOMENTS WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG, AND THEY LOOK AT YOU WITH THIS INNER DEEP LOVE THAT COULD NEVER GO AWAY FOR TO US THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THAT LITTLE CHILD EVEN WHEN THEY BECOME GROWN AS SOMETIMES WE WISH THEY NEVER GROW UP JUST STAY A CHILD...
I think it's beautiful that you can pen such lovely tributes despite the pain you have endured through their absence. That is the mark of Love - seeing the good in the situation - the beauty that arose from it.
