Live Each Day
Live each day
The sirens in the distance
Police, ambulance and fire brigade
Someone's life has been altered
Tragedy ...
Automobile accident
Wrecked, twisted metal
glass, rubber and blood
Death ...
Families lives shattered
Altered and forever changed
never to be the same again
Sorrow ...
Standing around a grave
Coffin lowered down
descending into the earth
Having to say goodbye
Forever ...
We never know how long we have left on this earth
Live each day as if it were your last
I know I am ...
The sirens in the distance
Police, ambulance and fire brigade
Someone's life has been altered
Tragedy ...
Automobile accident
Wrecked, twisted metal
glass, rubber and blood
Death ...
Families lives shattered
Altered and forever changed
never to be the same again
Sorrow ...
Standing around a grave
Coffin lowered down
descending into the earth
Having to say goodbye
Forever ...
We never know how long we have left on this earth
Live each day as if it were your last
I know I am ...

Last day

I try to talk and write as if I was to die today: nothing would be left to answer. It's not so much in having the answers, but just asking the right questions. Loved the write. Just keep Aaron Neville in mind:)

So sad...

...and so true.
I used to live in a city where you heard sirens every night. I would imagine what it could be and how sad and scared someone(s) was feeling. Great write!

I don't live in a very big town, surrounded by a lot of open road, so the crashes are horrendous. My heart breaks every time I hear the rescue helicopter fly over!
Thank you for your comment.

its ashame how people drive these days - on clear bright shiny days I see the most vicious wrecks - and wonder how - usually its speed - we have this road here that people see as a raceway - and I have lost count when it is completely closed down due to bad crashes - yet no speed cameras are put up - or red lights to slow them down - but oh well - what can you do - great write - ^v^

Yes, they don't think before they put their foot down, and it is usually some poor unsuspecting motorist coming the other way that they crash into.

Ah the problem

Often times putting all one can into each day is interpreted as doing everything fast. There is a difference but few are able to realize it. As a famous coach one said, "Make haste but don't hurry".

Jazz,
You somehow manage to force me to think out side the box with your comments.

Oh boxes always seem to be falling down around me because they are stacked too high!
