This felt incredibly stupid at first. But since I am going in and out of my writing funk, I decided to try and write a Haiku about the first thing that caught my attention.
The wooden table I drank my morning coffee at was the fated subject.

Poetry is everywhere when you let it. Or something of this nature.
As for the table it looks like a face to me, eyes, nose, the reddish bit looks like some blush gone rogue and the darker stains- beauty marks.
I kind of thought it was more graceful in that the table was there for you to sit, relax and start the morning in a quiet reverent manner.
Haiku congrats. Love it. H🌷
