America's Capitalist Environment Recycle Joke

 
 
Now, y'alls good boys and girls be doing your best
           to Save the Planet, right?
Recycling all those nasty by-products of our bottomless
                         consumption, right?
 
Well, the business of recycling is falling on hard times.
 
10% plant closures due to inability to turn a profit.
 
"Investors" shying away from The Cause.
 
Recycling has worn out it's trendiness.
 
Meanwhile, the plastics industry is forecasting a 400%
      increased demand for single-use plastic items,  
 where as huge quantities of plasti'trash are forming
massive "colonies" in our warming oceans.
 
Something ain't right around here.  
                                                As a mattafact, it stinks.
