Tundra Skin
You are the skin of a wolf
I followed your blood
Without opening my eyes
You are feral, raw indifference
And I knew I was nothing but prey
That your heart would never move.
You know that I suffer
A body burned
In death’s dreary acid bath
But, in your musk
I found a moment respite
I just wish your teeth
Were less sharp
And your chill had less bite.
I followed your blood
Without opening my eyes
You are feral, raw indifference
And I knew I was nothing but prey
That your heart would never move.
You know that I suffer
A body burned
In death’s dreary acid bath
But, in your musk
I found a moment respite
I just wish your teeth
Were less sharp
And your chill had less bite.
