Remember the Snow Before it Melts
remember the snow before it melts
for I am a flower
that’s here for the spring
then gone with the gust
of an autumn breeze
remember that feeling
of losing a memory
to the void of the past
that we’re good at forgetting
so hold onto me
for the time I am living
before the present finds you
and there’s no more February
snow only lasts
for the time it is given
that’s why it’s a gift
not all can receive it
so hold onto me
before I am done
can you see the snow melting?
can you feel the spring sun?
the best things in life
are taken too soon
the prettiest flowers
wilt after they bloom
remember the snow before it melts
the flower is taking its final breath
be careful of what you take for granted
don’t get lost in spring
and be wishing for winter
for I am a flower
that’s here for the spring
then gone with the gust
of an autumn breeze
remember that feeling
of losing a memory
to the void of the past
that we’re good at forgetting
so hold onto me
for the time I am living
before the present finds you
and there’s no more February
snow only lasts
for the time it is given
that’s why it’s a gift
not all can receive it
so hold onto me
before I am done
can you see the snow melting?
can you feel the spring sun?
the best things in life
are taken too soon
the prettiest flowers
wilt after they bloom
remember the snow before it melts
the flower is taking its final breath
be careful of what you take for granted
don’t get lost in spring
and be wishing for winter
