We go again  
Apathy spreads  
Like a dark blanket  
Untying  
Me from sanity  
 
Sinking  
Further into darkness  
It’s like quicksand  
Slowly shrinking from the world  
Broken logic  
No longer protects  
 
The bloody mind  
Hits out again  
Thoughts of paranoia  
Become more  
The voices of reason  
In an upside down world  
 
Everything  
That’s tangled  
Is unravelling  
Wild eyes see more clearly  
Insanity  
Has a new respective  
 
When  
It all subsides  
Will the light  
Be there once more
Something to hold on to
