cage cleaned out
ready for the next hamster
really cruel  times we live in

but his memories live in you who loved

It sort of disheartening to see how fast we disappear. The garbge man carries away
the obscure memories we kept for only reasons we know. Oh life.....

Am I allowed to say Wow! twice in one day? Damn it I can, Wow! This piece is awesome in it s poignancy and devastating in sadness. I did not know Jerry but it's clear, through your words,  that his life was worthwhile. I am reminded of a line from Hamlet speaking of how brief is our memory,  
"Then there’s hope a great man’s memory may outlive his life half a year." Bravisima! I appreciate the powerfuk brevity of your poems 😀💕
