In the west the Buddha's first noble truth...life is dissatisfaction...suffering (dukkha)...is often interpreted as being about our own lives, which it is...but more importantly it is about the dissatisfaction/pain/suffering that we cause others/the Earth etc, as we live our daily lives...and then...if we choose, making changes in our lives...so pass the Dettol man lol.

There's cleansing... and there's Cleansing. Not all washings work for every soiling. I think sometimes we must burn off the stains...trial by fire. I know I've experienced this myself. But this may just be me rambling about how I perceive it...You do make a soul ponder though...

exactly...not all washings work for some soiling. The fire that is the lit conscience...is more like a slow underground smoldering mine fire... calm and normal above ground whilst the hell rages just below the surface. Nope dear friend no rambling...you hit a home run there.. :-)
