It feels like it's heading that way - but there were similar voices as the year 1000 approached (spread by the church, Jesus returns, Armageddon, etc) and it felt like that to some during WW1, a sense of collapse of 'civil-isation'. I moved to Portugal in 2008 believing 'system-collapse' was imminent and bought land to learn to grow food to potentially have to feed my 5 kids & their families. Now, I'm planning to returning to U.K - but I'll still grow my own food as much as possible. It's a tricky one.

No Thing lasts forever. Whether 10 yrs. or 1000yrs, "our thing" will surely pass (into No Thing).....
