Thanks. If I walk the path with my eyes closed, I get scared that I will bump into things, even though my feet can tell me when I'm off the path and I can correct. I do encourage trying this relatively harmless (depending on the surroundings, of course) leap of faith at times.

I actually love walking in the dark. I rarely use a flashlight when I'm camping.... I'll have to try navigating with my eyes closed sometime.

The eyes closed thing really works for clearing the mind, but it's really hard to make yourself do it for the required amount of time (20 seconds at least)

Bravo! While physical sight is important, internal guidance is more so in regards to direction.
