A tired body with a restless brain

3:00 A.M.
I can't sleep

I'm physically tired but my brain is running at full speed
So many thoughts running around inside my head
Why won't they get tired like me?

Thoughts about what I did today or yesterday I guess... whatever
Thoughts about what I want to do tomorrow or today I guess... it's confusing

Do the dishes
Clean my room
Maybe a shower
Do I want to shave?
Go for a walk?

Why do I fucking care?! It's 3 A.M.!
I wish I had a switch to turn this brain of mine off

Oh wait I'm gonna be home alone maybe I can do something fun!

Again why do I fucking care right now?!
Just shut down and let me sleep!
