Wake Up America, Please (In Remembrace 08-04-19)
Heartbroken Today
What a sad day in America when people work hard and would like to be rewarded from the spoils of their rewards, then to relieve some mental stress, to relax and enjoy, whereas, some mental and deranged person who has no bearing to what life truly means to live, plays God, Judge, and the Jury.
It has been so many mass shootings in America, senseless acts of violence, that has befallen this great nation. Some shooting done in the name of violence, racial, on some unknown motive, or simply, death by cop suicide.
When the hell are, we going to wake up and take more measure to curtail these ugly occurrences, because these so called gun laws are just not working.
The NRA, and its rules and regulations, has placed political houses against one another to place better laws to assist the gun sellers to make sure they are selling weapons to the right hand(s).
I would as citizens we have the right to bear arms, but what happens when these high-powered weapons end up in the wrong hands, and the person’s mentality is fueled by rage.
As of August 4, 2019, It is people waking up, having to come to grips, they will never see their loved ones again, friends, co-wokers, babies, will never see their mother, father, in regards to being a victim of such a terrible demise.
I am so numb today. For the people of El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio, my deepest sympathies, my prayers, are with you, your love ones, your family members, and your family.
In my heart of heart, I truly hope one day we can walk together, as one nation, where we can embrace each other’s heritage, skin color, and we stop to think before anger overcomes us, and to act accordingly to God, or to whatever Deity you give praises unto universal laws; to love despite all. Therefore, to make days like this non-existence or another day in history no one wants to remember, or have to relive the tragedy remembrance of its anniversary.
And thank you to the First Responders and my love and support, as a Critical Care Trauma ER Nurse, I love you all for what you do in such mere crisis such as this, and the community who always seem to roll up their sleeves to donate in times of need.
Come on America aren’t we better this.
