Mother Nature and the Dude

Say man... the Dude said next time  
...we piss him off…  
he'd sweep us away with fire.  

Seems water is way too messy,  
...all things considered...  
 
What with climate change and all  it ...appears to me our  
problems are likely to come from the sea.  
 
After all...we're losing the glaciers  
...oceans are steadily rising…  
shores sucked away with outgoing ...tides...  
it's not really surprising.  
 
I have to confess curiosity…  
...as to just how Dude might do it...  
when salt water covers every acre.  
 
Now, I know...you'll say Dude can  
...do anything he wants…  
Didn't he make the Laws of Nature?  
 
Meaning he should behave e-thi-cal-ly ...and keep Mother's Laws himself…  
 
Course by this time there won't be ...anything left to burn, anyway…  
 
So...looking on the bright side…  
... in my tale nobody's gonna burn…  
 
Can't do it, ain't gonna happen ...cause
 ...surely by then... we'll all have been
drowned in the sea…
