Sleeping Awake
For a body that refuses to lie down
(trapped) here in this physical dimension
tiny blinks, minute dreams
just small millisecond glimpses
How far down the road can you see?
unrecognisable now the mirrors
truth be told those portals
are closed to me now
perhaps I'll find the key again one day
again unlock those parallel doorways
today though, there is only this day
as weeks pass into months
How far along the path do you see?
you are oh so close now
close enough I can see you
those times I am able to close my eyes
as close as one can be nonphysically
can reach through the cosmic painting
call out to you astrally
caress my fingers through your hair
How far up the mountain do you see?
remember that tree we planted when all was one
when the time is right I'll meet you there
How far into the future can you see?
