Brava Imogee! This is raw vulnerability! The Rosez and Razors theme is well fleshed out and touching. If this is your story I am sad to know of the pain on you inflicted. Nte: I think you meant "breasts" instead of "beasts" in the first line.

This is a perfect encapsulation of being visibly vulnerable, Imogee. This is based on one of my favorites of hers and her philosophy that willing vulnerability allows others in our presence to become such on the premise that light chases away darkness.

I know of a movement where women are getting beautiful tattoos on their mastectomy scars and going topless. I think it's one of the bravest things I've ever seen a woman do. This poem is too.
