The light tap of a goddess
Like a dancing vapor in the distance
From the depths of sunken eyes
Is a sunken treasure
I want to give it all back.
I want to give it all back.
I want to give it all back.
Though I cannot touch it or name it
I can taste its structure.
Like the bitter darkness
Of interweaving pines
I'll be smiling in fall,
when I crumple and go brown,
Returning to dirt,
I'll give it all back.
Like a dancing vapor in the distance
From the depths of sunken eyes
Is a sunken treasure
I want to give it all back.
I want to give it all back.
I want to give it all back.
Though I cannot touch it or name it
I can taste its structure.
Like the bitter darkness
Of interweaving pines
I'll be smiling in fall,
when I crumple and go brown,
Returning to dirt,
I'll give it all back.
