Generations
the splendour of the earth
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14 (NIV)
by the sweat of its brow,
the river bleeds upon the thirsty land
in its sojourn to find the ocean floor.
its perpetual flow
is more than i will ever understand,
just like the love of Him Whom i adore.
life beneath ocean depths
flourishes in the mystery of Your care,
each with its own uniqueness and its worth.
Your children You have kept:
creatures of all kinds living everywhere,
we occupy the splendor of the earth.
generations of souls,
meandering impulses of free will,
we wander toward an unknown existence.
we search for hearts made whole,
ruminate Truth—Your Holy Word instilled,
Your guidance and love always sufficient.

Having 3 souls with the same Holy Spirit guiding them is a testament to Gods glory. Thank you Cab for taking the lead on this, the rhythm and rhyming scheme was a great outline for us and a new experience for me. I feel you have a gift of teaching.
As usual my "delightful purple friend "sharing your sweet, tender, and intuitive spirit, helped make this initial trip to "tri-collab land", a great one. Thank you both for allowing me to participate. I learned a lot.

We have barely scratched the surface of what goes on down there; mystery is an excellent word choice.

Hey, TIG
This 3-way Collab was a first for me (for each of us, I believe). There have been mammoth DU collaborations before; however, by the grace of God, we might have started a new revolution. Three minds working as a single unit, without each obliterating the other, kind of reminds me that we worship the Triune God, who manifests Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Thank you for your contribution in transforming a passing thought into an accomplished and wonderful outcome. Our three stanzas flow with a singular purpose because of our connection to the same Supreme Being, the God in Whom "we live and move and have our being" (Acts 17:28).
I hail your kind spirit, your flexibility, your wit, and your sense of purpose. Have I even mentioned your patience! It's an enviable virtue, even to those who should seek not to be envious. You see, we can always hunger and thirst after -- even crave -- righteousness, for therein we receive the blessing (Matt. 5:6).
Hopefully, this is not our final Collab.

Cab, this was such a wonderful piece to collaborate on with the likes of you two. But I think I have told you before, the Holy Spirit affects my poetry in ways that surprises me. This is no exception, Your talent and insights shared on this piece were just another example of that very thing to me. The Flower has inspired me here as well as poetry in the past. You both have such great spirits that I would share ink with you guys anytime. Thanks for your guidance on this very fun and inspiring piece.
