me and myself

never have i felt that i belong
never has my soul had it's own song
but now that i stand tall
never again will i fall

my feet firmly planted on the ground
from my soul there comes a sound
is this my song that has begun?
take one step and then i run

faster and further,never again
will i succumb to the pain
those days are over and far away
here in this moment is were i'll stay

feelings of hope fill my soul
washes away the black as coal
my hands start to shake
as i awake............
