Hey Peppz. This one's a bit special. You're working with your two strongest suits (Pops and the missus) and you're mixing the dark and the light like only you can.
I'm offering you an edit for your consideration/amusement. I've taken out a few little bits that didn't quite work for THIS reader and added in just one or two small (hopefully subtle)rhymes to integrate it a bit more.
Most important, my ending brings the spotlight back on your missus. The poem started off being about her and how important her knowing about the code (and you) is in the great scheme of things. Just felt it should wind up with her in focus. Popps won't mind this one time!

my dear Brother... i have lived so long by this code that i need not have to think about it.. it is the center piece of my balance.. the cornerstone of my mental temple.. she learned the law through me as i learn and have been crafted by He..

you left out an important line.. '...with a lack of trust..' this is important because as mine's view and im sure many others.. 'men are dogs and will fuck up if given air and opportunity..' lmao.. sad truth but wa man can hold a straight face and not at the very least give the point some merit..

reason being code is everything.. (if not in tune with Father) mathematically balanced for success.. creates level playing field.. (TRUST) to walk the line one prospers.. begin to create own rules.. guarantees the loss of balance..
