A Father and a Daughter
You stupid bitch,
can't you tell I'm trying to help?
I hate having to watch you do this...
You're killing me too.
All I see around you is
the darkness that consumes you,
and it's starting to suffocate me.
I'm sick of the blank look you always
give me,
and the glassy, dark eyes that stare at nothing.
I wish you would go back to
how you used to be...
But I know that person was only
a fake.
I miss the father that would
pick me up for no reason at all...
the one that would hug me tightly saying
how much he was glad to have me.
Ever since you were consumed again by
the horrible drugs and alcohol,
You've left me by myself and now
I can't stand you.
Please allow me to help, I don't want
to see another go...
Even though I hate your guts...
you still are my father,
my blood.
can't you tell I'm trying to help?
I hate having to watch you do this...
You're killing me too.
All I see around you is
