Spring Festival
Spring gave a festival,
The flowers by hundreds came.
The Roses, Lilacs and Daffodils,
The flowers of every name.
The Grass spread a carpet
And everything was grand.
Mother Nature led the festivities,
The best in the land.
The Lilacs came in purple,
The Roses in scarlet dressed.
The lovely Misses Daffodil
In golden looked their best.
All balance to their escorts
And gaily danced by.
The sight was like a sunrise
And the birds song from the sky.
Then in the colorful glade
From dawn till dusk they played.
The festival closed at dusk
And everyone stayed
Mother Nature stayed pleasant,
They danced along the ground.
And then the festival ended
With everyone happy all around.
The flowers by hundreds came.
The Roses, Lilacs and Daffodils,
The flowers of every name.
The Grass spread a carpet
And everything was grand.
Mother Nature led the festivities,
The best in the land.
The Lilacs came in purple,
The Roses in scarlet dressed.
The lovely Misses Daffodil
In golden looked their best.
All balance to their escorts
And gaily danced by.
The sight was like a sunrise
And the birds song from the sky.
Then in the colorful glade
From dawn till dusk they played.
The festival closed at dusk
And everyone stayed
Mother Nature stayed pleasant,
They danced along the ground.
And then the festival ended
With everyone happy all around.
