When you lie

If looks can kill, and eyes do deceive,
Then why when you lie do I then believe,
The torrent of bullshit that comes pouring out,
of the blackened great hole that you call a mouth
And I listen, absorbed to the things that you say,
Hold on to so much and see it your way,
Condescending and critical, bitter fuelled strife,
Your depiction of my apparent tragic shit life,
It's hard not to take these actions personal
When I don't show reaction " I live in a bubble"
But you spit this raw venom, and I'll say something true,
To be honest from here, I feel sorry for you,
You're open yet broken, a poor empty soul,
And I wish I had in me to make you feel whole;
But I can't, and it's done, yet it pains me to say
That I think that it's best that we went separate ways.
