this was all mine .. once
that ethereal dance of love
the rhythm of his heart
my song, ear pressed to his chest
whenever I needed more
his arms eagerly open
to take me in
he would sing to me then
under the stars
we swayed to the soft breeze
our souls in tune to the
waves curling against the shoreline
held close
so much warmth in his gentleness
his strong arms always felt like home ...
physically he is gone
but our spirits still dance under the stars

I believe this is a love that transcends time & place. When spirits dance long beyond the passing of flesh...that is immortality, I think. Beautiful
