The Dawn Is Breaking
The stillness of the night is gone
Darkness is fading as the first thread of light appears in the sky
Ending the night's cycle
The dawn is breaking, unfurling anew
Birthing a new morning, a new sunrise
To grace the world of the living
Nature opens its eyes waking to a new day
It sings joyfully in celebration of life
As it waits for the sun to rise and the day to unfold
Cheerful sounds echo
In the early morning air
Birds singing, chirping noisily in the trees
Rousing those still asleep with their cheery tweets
Trees stretch their leafy arms
To embrace the day sighting the soft glow of sunrise in the eastern horizon
Ready to catch its bright rays and feel its nourishing warmth on their leaves
Life wakes from its slumber through the night
Slowly stirring to the sound of nature rejoicing the day's arrival with glee
The breaking of dawn brings new hope to life
The promise of another beginning
Of finding something new in life today
Darkness is fading as the first thread of light appears in the sky
