...Scared Sacred...
Y' know? The mind is tricky...
and there's something to be said...
'bout how cows, when scared,
are predisposed to panic...
But sacred cows...
do they still fly?
Flitting off into the sky...up the flagpole...so high
and yet...while we're taking our next breath
something stinks in Danemark.. .
Our sacred cow?
just became... a big-red-herring...
...another distraction...
meant to keep our minds off track...
...Fancy that...

... Experience ... ex (=out) per (= through) ire (= to go). Am reminded about experience being acquired when we've ourselves done "the only way out is through" bit (if that makes sense). I have my parents' words ringing in my ears "You can't put an old head on young shoulders" - now I see what they meant. :))
