Oxymoron

Good memories come a dime a dozen
You only get to experience your wildest desires once in a lifetime
Dreams are on a first come first serve basis
In the field where imagination blooms, wild and free bathing in the sunshine
Is the same field where pesticides are sprayed
To keep them from growing to wild, stopping them before they truly manifest into something beautiful
To the masochist, your deepest desire is to submit to your greatest fear
There is no room for subtlety when it comes to self expression
Because of the beautiful small deaths we live every day
Breathing while suffocating
This life is an oxymoron

Selfish men rule the world that they secretly want to share amongst themselves
Are my dreams too wild for such a tamed body?
No one taught us that there is a price to pay for free happiness
Priceless happiness is very expensive
Heaven feels like a short walk around the corner
Hell feels like eternity here
Freedom is at the hand of the oppressor
And they say god is love
That means that god is also hate
Maybe love is just a figment of our imagination
A fantasy, an illusion
Like a trip on a psychedelic drug, love is the master of deception
Life is the master of illusion
Heaven is the master of broken promises
Your tongue is the master of lies mixed with truths
God is the master of the matrix
And the universe is the master of all things good and bad

Sincerely, An Oxymoron
