Inclement Weather

Water kisses in the pouring rain
Cloudy forecast in logical judgement
Thunder beating hearts
Eventually bringing out the sun in our eyes...that is short-lived
Followed by the tornadoes that come and take us for a spin
Blizzard warning ahead
Burying our hearts deep beneath the snow
While our blood flowing veins freeze with the below zero temperatures
Trapping us inside our minds of unpredictable weather
But the weather is beautiful today
As he walks though my woods after the storm
Bright and sunny forecast today
Our smiles match the sun
And secrets shared with the moon as our witness
Seeking shelter in my cave during my thunderstorm
Flood waters rushing out
With every breath and lightning bolt
Thunder rumbling sounds escaping my deep tunnels
As we lay...gazing at the stars
We wonder what the forecast will be tomorrow
