She is My Moon
Shimmer moonlight across my ocean tonight
Pushing waves gently over my feet as I dig
My toes into the sand at water's edge
Paint the waves one by one for me
Their seaweed and foam laced footprints
Erasing all evidence of my solitude
I breathe deep the serenity of the shadows
Cast by your Illumination as sea spray
Mists my soul with whispers of you
Tide's drum beats steadily the song
My heart sings for you
YOU ARE MY MOON
