Breathe
My days bathed in light
it's only right now
I have a happier life
unburdened though the sun,
it shines on the cracks-
the ceramic sphere
of my shell
I can't escape the past
but maybe some acceptance
will allow for better oxygen
So I breathe
and I take it in
the trees and their leaves
the waves on the sea
So I breathe
and I let myself live
the stars in the dark
and dreams in my heart
so I breathe
My nights are filled with sleep
though it gets a little cold
with no one next to me
a little lonely is only
normalcy
if only, if only
I could know
that I wont die alone
I cant escape my head
but maybe some assurance
will allow for better oxygen
so I breathe
and I know I'll find him
and I can breathe
Im breathing again
it's only right now
I have a happier life
unburdened though the sun,
it shines on the cracks-
the ceramic sphere
of my shell
I can't escape the past
but maybe some acceptance
will allow for better oxygen
So I breathe
and I take it in
the trees and their leaves
the waves on the sea
So I breathe
and I let myself live
the stars in the dark
and dreams in my heart
so I breathe
My nights are filled with sleep
though it gets a little cold
with no one next to me
a little lonely is only
normalcy
if only, if only
I could know
that I wont die alone
I cant escape my head
but maybe some assurance
will allow for better oxygen
so I breathe
and I know I'll find him
and I can breathe
Im breathing again
