My Journey Of Poetry

I believe my poetry has come a long way
And my writing still has further to go
From free verse to rhyming to rants
To anything that kind of has a flow
 
Poems sprouted from my emotions
That only grew from there
Driven by anger, passion, and happiness
Now I see words everywhere
 
Frustrating as it may be
Poems are my new home
I've uncovered a new part of me
That loves to let my brain roam
 
I will forever continue my journey
And meet others just like me
Who love to write as I do
And become the best that we can be
