Sonnet in a Wheelchair
(because Em asked me for a sonnet but I don’t comprehend the iambic pentameter)
My sexy Muse, You inspire me to write.
I love all Your flirting, spills and kisses.
You invade my mind through the day and night,
Hard-ons in my mornings, Hell what is this!
You will always have me now, every day,
You’re drop-dead-gorgeous and brilliantly smart.
You instantly captured me with chess play
Synchronicity, Wow! Now have my heart.
How do I love You? Let me taste the ways!
I nosh on Your sexy ass, breasts and bush.
Now my hot sex and lust is set ablaze
as my longing intimacy feels smoosh’d!
Now we must petition with hopeful dreams,
coition to fruition our love(teams).

Re. Sonnet in a Wheelchair
Love is the greatest Muse of all - and when it strikes, it strikes hard and blows the walls away from any limitation. Well done, Tallen; a poet marching as to war, with the pen of poetry going on before.

She did Free me of having to write it
and i told her am gonna go ahead and finish
Nearly anything she's asked of me poetically
i have risen to the challenge.
Yeah,
it MUST be LOVE
appreciate the kind share

Sky_Dancer's "Sonnet Masochism" is pretty damn perfect in terms of iambic pentameter :))
Otherwise you could try:
Shakespeare's Sonnet No: 18 - a love sonnet in iambic pentameter that plays around with the form
"Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? " etc, etc :))

Nope - this is my first and last sonnet
I did it because Em asked me to
and i still don't understand iambic pentameter
and probably need a class in learning about it.
I read all of Sky_dancer's ink and always marvel
and enjoy

... no worries, I'll put iambic pentameter on my "to do" list re my "On ..." series {so far in my back-archive you'll find On Triolets, On Free Verse, On Haikus, On Limericks, On Luc Bats .. and more} :))

Sign me up for all of that shit!!!
Evidently,
reading a broad range of subjects
is not enough with this spilling gig

" iambic pentameter "
Stuff such words those are for the prosodistic name droppers. Those who can't manage anything but pretended teach and so resort to bluff with their made up words. To wit, prosody as a set of nomenclatures for the poet composers to use in making their music. These, invented by idle prosodists ! A mere matter of opinion. Can you believe that these things dare to control and direct we artists. The twats!

You must mean the ' bollox? ' Take no notice it's just me being my usual hysterical, paranoid self. Thinking someone's trying to put me down and my first instinct is to attack.

Re: Re. Sonnet in a Wheelchair
as someone who has endured lots of meanness
ESPECIALLY after i rec'd my diagnosis,
i know
and no harm done, here. i've healed (somewhat)
Still, what did You mean by Your comment?
With You, i was seeking education on my poetry.
