Once feelings of love fade kind friendship remains
when love’s past desires no longer hold pains

I hope we happily can always be friends
because I know that love all nature amends

memory of love lasts in this universe
written across time-space and here in this verse

when all is said and done candles burn when lit
remember my friend well, we once spoke of it.
