If It Must End, Let's Do It Again

Blame is unnecessary
if we wish to leave on a high
my tip deep inside you
a trail on your thigh

Our parting decisive
no fooling around
a kiss to remind you
and a fuck to astound

Controlling the memories
by pleasing each other
we carry these gifts
to the next willing lover

Anger can't touch us
if bliss be the closure
one last excursion
to let go of composure

That taste, it will haunt me
and keep my senses burning
but we avoid that cruel pattern
of the long, drawn out hurting

Held to my body
for the final orgasm
a gentle goodbye
in each, little spasm
