My Orbs
A dead man came to see me the other day. He appeared in an orb of light sending my heart into a fright. My body was trembling my brain was on lock down. Nothing was said, nothing was told, just a flash of light in the night. I was awake so it was no dream. Now when I am held in darkness my eyes search for the lights.
My dream was surrounded with water as I breathed it in. A man with no arms help me tight and said it would be alright. My thoughts drifted to a dark carnival where a man took my hand and kissed my ear. He disappeared leaving me to stumble through the alley.
Found a child drunk behind a bar as I wondered down the rows. He eyeless sockets met mine and he smiled calling me by my name. He said, oh pretty doll what have you done? You sold your soul to the carnival and now you are stuck here with me.
