Thoughts In Snow
Remembering you
Is like remembering
The ice cold burn
Of frostbite.
I never really had it,
But I thought I did
On some velvet winter.
How foolish of me.
Glass is just like you,
I can see right through it.
Your breaking point
Mirrors mine.
Shattered on my empty floor,
You dig into skin
And leave me pained, bleeding.
You slipped from my hands.
Is like remembering
The ice cold burn
Of frostbite.
I never really had it,
But I thought I did
On some velvet winter.
How foolish of me.
Glass is just like you,
I can see right through it.
Your breaking point
Mirrors mine.
Shattered on my empty floor,
You dig into skin
And leave me pained, bleeding.
You slipped from my hands.
