First Love Yourself
They say...
No-one will love you
if you don't love yourself
They say...
Confidence is sexy
They say...
Be your own kind of beautiful
I try...
I think I do okay
Feeling loved by someone you love
makes it so much easier to love yourself
see yourself through his eyes
you're not ugly
you're not old
you're not fat
Believe in yourself
you're not a bad person
you're not useless
you're not a murderer
You tried your best
Things just don't always work out
Everything happens for a reason
Maybe

I love this poem!
I lived with a self hate for a rather long time so I kinda get this and the point of the write.
But you know, you are correct...
It's whole lot easier to love yourself when you feel or are loved.
I reckon we are none of us...
Old, fat, ugly, useless, a bad person because well those things are subjective are they not?
And to be cliche' about it...
They say "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder"
Love this piece it's one for my list...
Found the end rather cryptic too
