Another visit
To your doctor is over
And I am relieved
Thankful everything is well
The lab results are okay

For eleven years
This has been our routine
Visiting clinics
Every two months for check up
To ensure your heart is fine

Since your surgery
Many things have changed for us
Especially you
Those carefree years are gone now
We're living on borrowed time

Thus I try to live
In the moment, the present
When we're together
I won't think of tomorrow
What matters to me is NOW

I thank God for you
For giving you one more chance
To live more fully
To put more meaning to life
To share longer years with me

God in His wisdom
Knows the reason as to why
He let things happen
So I trust in Him fully
And give Him my thanks and praise

You're a survivor
And your second life is proof
Of God's love for you
And that miracles happen
If you believe with much faith
