Decree

a decree of longevity, laced fingers whispering latitude,
heights reached to juxtapose our mutual trauma expressed in kinetic conflict,
acrobatics of limbs framing ornate glyphs,
composing sublime notes in sliding flesh tones timbered to a heartbeat’s unison favored rage,
ambiance concealing the indelible shades of real, inducing transitory amnesia,
blurring stain and scar to an even unblemished blend of illusory beauty
to feed future daydreams flickering behind a musing gaze--
anointment with fevered breath and silk lip wet textures to ignite a baptism of conjoining flames,
starved nerve endings, eagerly rabid, gorging on calculated frictions and poise,
and scents sweet musk rising in pleasantly sharp acrid stings, blush to color quiet pinkish hue,
tasted salted, forbidden fruit ripened, swelling slighted of those pliable down gates speared with lapping salivated strokes,
rapid feathers crossing pursued by total consumption, firm entrapment locked like a vacuum,
a rapture parallel to oblivion, vehemence, pulses tremors quaking
trembles the body’s tributaries and spawning rivulets, imprisoned by consent, struggle, futility with intent,
lungs in shock, stuttering gasps fills and empties and blurring ceases vision’s ponder
and the world is a fluid ghost heated to a steaming insignificant beyond
dripping invalid non-moment and un-now unstrung and unmade,
all is furied torrential sensation spreading from a singular contact point trapped in a sequence that begs explosion
but teases with threats of collapse yet disallows a second’s pause in the relishing drink of insatiable rhythm,
tender anticipation mounts each timed connection and the loss of where one ends and the other begins
