Remembering Journeys
I'm not here today
just like I wasn't yesterday
or the day before
my mind's adrift
floating thru the memories
and the impossibility
the midnight serenades
sitting under your window
I throw no rocks
only love, inside kisses of hope
remembering journeys
and sometimes a name or two
but I'll never forget those baby blues
and the oceans of peace they breathe
my lips not parched
nor salted eyes
wide open I drift
for tomorrow's today will make history
and memories, written in pain
and heart, happiness
I won't be here today
I'll be off on a journey
taking in views
breathtaking mountains
and the beautiful you

I find it a really clever poem about appreciating and living in the present moment, whilst the wording on first sight suggests living in the past & future.
