My Eye Rhymes
I mime with eye rhymes for a quick laughter,
Although writing it feels like it’s a slaughter,
But once the inspiration finally comes through,
The delivery many times sounds a little rough.
And yet this rite seems right just for fun’s sake,
Especially after downing a whole bottle of sake,
Don’t ask me how but now I feel a bit strange,
But I think I finally found a way to use orange!
I try to write sight rhymes but it all seems gone,
Like fleeing words worlds away leaving me alone,
These verses are like leaves flying off into the wind,
Therefore I wave bye to them smiling staying behind.
My eye rhymes hurt like a sty I want to gouge,
They can be covered with make-up and rouge,
So while the style is wild it has to be thorough,
Just like when I drink and think I’ve had enough.
It’s only a short little witty ditty I’d like to prove,
Anything you do, you must do it with lots of love,
So if I’ve hit that mark with my arrow and bow,
Then let me humbly thank thee and take a bow.
