Broken Mirrors
Your heart has a lack of color,
I love that you love to hate,
a dysfunctional similarity.
Your eyes lack sparkle,
soaking in the destruction around you,
I get lost in their pain.
Your voice lacks presence,
Speaking words just for the motion,
I'm intrigued by it's absence.
Your hands lack lines,
telling no story of where you've been,
I want to solve your mystery.
Your soul has a lack of meaning,
just a body in apparition,
I want to give you meaning.
Your heart lacks color.
I love that you love to hate,
a dysfunctional similarity.
Your eyes lack sparkle,
soaking in the destruction around you,
I get lost in their pain.
Your voice lacks presence,
Speaking words just for the motion,
I'm intrigued by it's absence.
Your hands lack lines,
telling no story of where you've been,
I want to solve your mystery.
Your soul has a lack of meaning,
just a body in apparition,
I want to give you meaning.
Your heart lacks color.
