A Forbidden Pain

I don't understand
Why must this pain be upon me
A pain of a broken heart
That can never ne mended
I could take any physical beating you give me
But this is inhuman
Even a heartless person would think this is cruel
So how could you
The most amazing person I've ever met
Turn my love into the very weapon that killed my soul
That destroyed my reason for life
And crushed my ability to love
I now lie here, motionless
But I can feel myself falling
Into the aybiss of my never ending pain
To never rise again from the pits of my burning hell
And to now, never feel happiness
Hope ever again
And this all could've been avoided
But no, you just walked away
Taking my light with you
Only to leave a dark, destroyed heart
Of a once hopeful girl
Who now sits in a corner of a dark room
Wishing to forget you
Wishing you never came
Wishing to laugh again
Love again
To live again
Because inside, she is dead
