Memory
I have the worst memory
Selective at best
I tend to remember the things I shouldn't
Maybe that's why the conversations we had at 2am are the clearest
The words that faded fast for you
Still rot inside me
I can't believe I'm here again
This feeling rises anew
Wanting desires, people
That can never happen
All because of my cowardice and his consequence
Once again
I must shove down this tangible feeling
Move back to reality
And pray I can't remember

Oceans of Longing
Ocean wide
Miles far
Love knows not
Time being endless
Life begin just opposite
Love bares no care
Stare into her eyes
Peal back his doubts
This is the soul's home
Thriving once all the pieces become whole by passion
Like a drug that keeps the misery away
Talking through the air
Loving on faith and hope
The hope that the miles don't really matter
And the depths of a loving heart does
Either encased in form and sea salt
Or surrounded bu sinlight
Waiting on the break of a word
Holding notes tear by tear

Once Friends
Go ahead!
Tell me I'm fucking wrong!
Pushing me out and slamming the door behind me.
Leaving me alone and isolated.
There it is!
Convince yourself I was the one to shun.
Oh, naive one,
See if you can take a step without me to tell you if you're going in the right direction.
Let's watch it all unfold!
Fall victim to the users and abusers.
I'm sure they'll have your back when the shit hits the fan
But be honest.
Doing their dirty work won't get you anywhere.
And you know it.

I'm waiting.

The Shadow's Light
The Luminescent paints faded gray upon a naked canvas. The slate is filled with shades of Shadow. There, it can be found. Created from the Luminescent's daughter, but resides along side the Shadow's son. How shall we classify it? The Fallen One? Or simply another lost soul, cast out as a resuld of a miserable series of events. Boxes and Doors
Boxes are nothing more than glorified traps
Hiding away contents the seeing eye only wishes to understand
Taping lies down
Chaining secrets up
Leaving the mind to escape to a land of fantasy
Because that's the only freedom allowed
Isolation consumes the body
Leaving curiosity bottled up inside
Continually searching for the gate
Hoping for the enlightened freedom
Running and searching for the holy light
Falling face first through the rotted door
Finally taking in the freedom with all senses
From the bright sun to the wondrous...

Sometimes...
I want to be the hidden pessimist
Right now...
I feel the need to break the most fragile things
Usually...
I strive to be the smartass parents hate to claim
Hardly ever...
I push the limits of my ever four walls
Occasionally...
I state the sinful truths that most keep buried deep down

I find being the bitch is enticing

I fight tooth and nail with the people who love me

Betrayed
I've been crying for days
Dreaming for much longer
Overwhelmed in disbelief
The rivers of black stream from my swollen eyes
Body trembling in absolute anger
Cursing your God-forsaken name to the dusty sky
Life as I became accustomed to died with you
Shattered at the very moment your sinful kissed me goodbye
Your bittersweet poisonous love took me over
And at the time, I drank you down deep
Now my mind tries to forget
And my body wants to spit you out
I can't even look at your pictures
My heart can't take the heated pain
My skin burns...
Dreaming for much longer

How will I take the world's life
Create the apocalypse from the devil and his soulless wife
The bottom feeders will fear my hellfire
And it's the bitch's life for hire
Yes, it's clear I'm fucking insane
But my new world order will be everything but mundane
Nonconformist will be slaughtered in cold blood
The river of the innocent will flood
No other would be my master
The perfect urban life will be seduced by my chaos and disaster
Damning all the heros down to hell
Ringing out the morbid bell

The Revolution
The rich run, flea and hide
to escape their terrible fate
The poor rise, conquer and celebrate
to remember this justice date
The cries heard, loud and everywhere
to have everyone together in the event
The break out seen, near and far
to bring permenate change without consent
The homes destroyed, aflame and broken
to bring the punishment from the underdogs
The revenge sweet, deep and well earned
to break down rich buildings to lone logs
The blood abundant, deep and splattered
to seep into concrete on town squares
