A safer surrogate
Than mother's arms
Trees dance by
Pirouette in parallax
An arborial ballet
Green horizons bashful
Play Peek-a-boo
Behind tall towers
Viewing through dirty
Panes and pains
Needn't highlight misery
Even if you are trained that way.

Your opening stanza creates a really interesting metaphor in the mind's eye. I love the syllabic flow and construction of the second stanza. Beautiful. You follow through to a terrific message on perspective. We often cannot choose our environment or circumstances, but we can choose how to feel about them. Attitude is practically everything. Great ink.
