Childhood Memories
The sound of the waves
Were like music to my ears
When the tide was high
The sea lapped at the footbridge
Spraying water on my feet
When the moon was full
And the tide would rose above
Our house would be wet
Flooded by the sea water
On some mornings on high tides
The sea was my ground
Where I swam and dived and jumped
As a growing child
Who lived in a home by the sea
In a place so far away
Sea was everything to me
The joy of my childhood years
That kept me spellbound
Its wonders and charm held my
Fascination and delight
Were like music to my ears
When the tide was high
The sea lapped at the footbridge
Spraying water on my feet
When the moon was full
And the tide would rose above
Our house would be wet
Flooded by the sea water
On some mornings on high tides
The sea was my ground
Where I swam and dived and jumped
As a growing child
Who lived in a home by the sea
In a place so far away
Sea was everything to me
The joy of my childhood years
That kept me spellbound
Its wonders and charm held my
Fascination and delight
