Garden Bed

Plant me in the primed passions
of that evolving garden
accepting the instincts
that require no pardon

A simple stroke of the bud
advancing slow to uncover
porcelain skin drawing rose
to the cheeks it will colour

Roots furiously tangle
stagnant soils quickly tussle
fluids spray from the nozzle
all sweat, and pure muscle
