As the Author's note says... written only in the spirit of appreciation of this Art form. Deep gratitude dear Sage one for this comp. Well i see it as a celebration and nothing more... so a gargantuan Thank You! for that. Just saw the comp today(yes am an Ogre who lives in a den lol).

Yes, I agree. It is.
Here's a question: is it worth it if no one ever reads it? Do we write for the process of writing, or for the prospect of sharing? I wonder about this. I suspect there's no clear answer....

i say everyone writes , expresses for their own reasons
it's an art
for some well many actually it is a therapy/release
and for some it is means to fame or other such valid reasons
whatever the reason...i say it is worth it.
for me it is just inking an expression in its purity
and some may say well should i not enhance it, tinker with it to make it look pretty.. well there was a time when my focus was on doing it "properly" following rules traditions and all.. i left that to just focus on what gives me ultimate joy... inking it in it's purity...rawness..and for me it is absolutely worth it.. no matterthe risk if one and or all consider it imperfect or not poetry ...
and being an anonymous inker... i take big risk writing it.. an i say worth it.. i love the anonymity/obscurity and sometimes my ink comes closer to blowing it away..i say Poetry..is worth it!
and re your question... it reminds me of the question about the tree falling and no one hearing it..did it make a sound.. well hell yes.. even if no one reads it.. in my personal humble opinion it is worth it.. coz it is expression...and better out than in!
