life's path
Life picks our paths
and the people that we meet,
we reach to find reason
and we hope to find lesson
in each and every step
some walk besides us,
some step aside
others we carry with us,
happily with pride
some stop
some go
others drift off in a different direction but we continue on
and we discover new things
we meet new people
it's not like nothing mattered
because of course it did
we can't change these steps
or take a walk on back
we just have to keep moving
this is our journey
and even tho we are together
we're on this path alone
and the people that we meet,

Wise words, JusTim. We do ultimately walk in solitude but enjoy a bit of company, here and there. But we are finally alone, facing our own angels and demons. A fine write off "the beaten path."
