All dreamy eyed over what our names might’ve or could’ve been after our personalities took hold. So we would swap around middle names that some of us actually didn’t have. Often, Mothers they would just tell us how we got our name and or what our name might have been. So occasionally we popped that in to extend some nostalgic feel. We’ve had a couple middle names self-inserted over the years- ending with an a sounding....was just looking up somebody and noticed man…how many times that middle initial has changed over a span of 10 years. Always grateful, always thankful for extra eyes…not ratting but informing…I think this is something you should know…they use to say…some folks will try to play both ends against the middle, then jump on with what whatever’s convenient.
